Art Business Consulting, a New York based Art Management Consultancy and Recruitment firm, is seeking for our client, a highly motivated Cataloguer, Post War & Contemporary Art. The cataloguer will gain unparalleled experience working closely with the Director, Senior Specialist, Post War & Contemporary Art in the growing Fine Art department of an established auction house.

In this exciting full-time role, the Cataloguer will be responsible for cataloging and research of all Post-War and Contemporary artworks consigned to the department. The successful candidate will be working directly with an amazing team of experts, collaborating and build long term relationships.

The auction house is looking for applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History or Arts Management plus working knowledge (3 - 5 years) and/ or a strong interest in the field of Post War & Contemporary Art. The suitable candidate must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines whilst maintaining great attention to detail. Excellent organization, communication and client service skills are a must.
